If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing Services from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers or merchants.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of, or access to, the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. This website and the content provided is hosted privately in accordance with privacy regulations and user, customer and partner private information is never shared with anyone unless required by statute law.
Prices for our Services are subject to change at any time and without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time.
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to the Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
A breach or violation of any of the Terms of Service will result in an immediate termination of Services and/or, legal actions at Word Stylist’sdisclosure.
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, specifically Queensland.
By browsing this site and agreeing to purchase any Services, you agree to the terms listed in this document/webpage and that you agree:
1. to never use any Service in a harmful or unlawful way
2. that Services shall be paid in full prior to release for your use
3. not to plagiarise or copy any content unlawfully from documents provided or any of the information provided on this website.
Description of Services
Word Stylist is dedicated to providing premium, ethical, professional editing Services. By choosing Word Stylist for your document, you accept the following Terms of Service. Word stylist reserves the right to change these Terms of Service at any time.
Unless specified by the client, Word Stylist adheres to British/Australian English and the Macquarie Dictionary. Word Stylist adheres to rules set out in the Snooks and Co. Style Manual: for authors, editors and printers.
Word Stylist’s Business Obligations
Word Stylist is committed to a high level of professional editing that meets client needs, which are prior stipulated and agreed upon in the client application form.
Word Stylist strictly follows the Institute for Professional Editors’ Australian Standards for Editing Practice and the Guidelines for Editing Research Theses.
Word Stylist bears no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury caused by or resulting from any of our Services.
Word Stylist reserves the right to refuse Services to a client if plagiarism is suspected, the content of the document is offensive or objectionable, or the client’s deadline cannot be met. Word Stylist will not edit plagiarised parts of a text, and the client is not entitled to a refund for these parts of text under any circumstances.
Word Stylist is not responsible for bugs or file corruptions that change the layout or formatting of the document across platforms. Such issues are outside of Word Stylist’s control.
After receipt of the client application form, Word Stylist reserves the right to decide whether to accept or reject the work and will notify the client, in writing, of the result.
Word Stylist reserves the right to report a student to their university or educational institution if they ask for Services including plagiarism or the writing or rewriting of a document for assessment purposes.
Word Stylist will not use personal client information for any purpose except to provide direct editing or writing Services unless reporting illegal behaviours.
Client Obligations
To access Word Stylist’s Services, the client is fully responsible for completing the client application form. The client application form must provide the following information: the client’s full name, email address, level of English (non-native or native English speaking), document word count (including the references and footnotes), the level of editing required, style preferences (if known), the university or institution that their work is affiliated with or to, an excerpt from the document for evaluation and a deadline for document completion.
The client must send an editable version of their document for Word Stylist to work on.
The client must pay their invoice in full before we send their edited document.
The client is fully responsible for accepting, rejecting and implementing the suggestions and changes made by Word Stylist.
The client bears full and complete responsibility for the final state, use and submission of all documents edited or written by Word Stylist.
All Word Stylist’s communications, edits and changes should be viewed as an opinion for consideration for and not instructions for any specific action. Clients are fully responsible for carefully considering all suggestions made by Word Stylist, and for making significant decisions about their document.
Payment
After agreeing to Word Stylist’s Terms of Service and a quote, the client must pay a 40 per cent of the quote upfront to Word Stylist. When the job is complete, the client will receive an invoice for the remainder of the payment, which must be paid in full before their edited document can be released. Word Stylist is under no obligation to provide clients with their edited copy until full payment is received.
If invoices are not paid on time, the agreed deadline for completion of the job is null and void.
Completion Terms
Word Stylist is not at fault for missing a deadline if the client’s email is blocked (including through the client’s spam filter) or payments are not received.
Word Stylist will not carry out a re-edit for a small number of errors or make revisions after you have made changes to your edited document. All new jobs must be resubmitted following the client application form process.
If a client does not submit their document on the date agreed in the client application form, Word Stylist is not obliged to meet the deadline stated in the form. A new deadline must be agreed upon in writing before commencement of the work. Word Stylist reserves the right to propose a deadline to clients.
Word Stylist reserves the right to request a higher fee if the work is found to require a higher level of editing than initially requested. Otherwise, the client must accept, in writing, that the document returned to them after editing will not be at a standard that is required for publication or any other intended purpose.
Guarantee
Word Stylist Guarantees deadlines will be met if the client has submitted their job on the agreed date and payment is received, in full, by the deadline. If the client has fulfilled all the responsibilities specified in these Terms of Service, and Word Stylist does not complete the job by the agreed deadline the client will receive a full refund and their work will be completed and returned promptly.
Word Stylist is committed to an elite Service that aims for minimal errors. Word Stylist does not guarantee that editing will achieve a perfect document that is completely free of errors.
Word stylist does not guarantee improved grades, a thesis pass, or the acceptance of articles for publication.
Word Stylist is not liable for the final grades of students’ work.
